In the article, requirements for interaction skills for advanced (B2-C1) students learning English are presented. It is shown that podcasts have significant linguo-didactic potential for teaching the interactive aspect of oral foreign-language communication to B2-C1 students by the example of the podcasts of the Internet resource All Ears English that can serve as a source of information on linguistic and extralinguistic features of interaction in the modern American culture and is an authentic standard of the American English speakers’ speech behaviour. The structure and thematic groups of All Ears English podcasts are defined on the basis of speech strategies and means of communication.
