The article examines the most famous models of professional well-being in the context of proactive coping behavior. The results of studying of psychological well-being features and proactive coping behavior of employees of different profile organizations are presented. It is shown that production workers and IT specialists are in harmonious interaction with the surrounding professional environment, and their mental state does not have any gravitation towards the extreme poles. The results of a systematic assessment of the psychological well-being of employees of different professional orientations in the context of proactive coping behavior, as well as an analysis of the relationship between the components of the psychological well-being of employees and their gender are presented.
