The article examines the role of the dedications decorated the Panhellenic sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi in the formation of the historical memory of military victories in the classical period of ancient Greek history. The author focuses on dedications perpetuated the common victories of the Hellenes during the Greco-Persian Wars, as well as on offerings made by Greek poleis in the period of internecine conflicts and in connection with the struggle for hegemony in Hellas.
