Dialogues and monologues of the story by D. Kharms “How an Old Lady was Buying Some Ink” are analyzed to show that the serial breaks of communicative rules, first of all cooperation principles of Grice, were used to make young reader immersed in the plot and make them understand the rules of successful communication by themselves.
