Public-private partnership allows search for new mechanisms to solve problems that regional and local government levels of Northern European states face. Within this partnership it is possible to fix tasks and responsibilities of different government levels and state and non-governmental and business organizations that are able to solve the most difficult tasks in collaboration working for indigenous peoples and regions. This collaboration encourages a regular dialogue between different social, economic and cultural actors, including the regional community. Therefore, public-private partnership has direct impact on development of civil society. The aim of the article is to define the potential of public-private partnership. To answer the question, the authors research national politics towards indigenous peoples in different states and mechanisms of public-private partnership.
