For the first time in Russian science, the article examines books belonging to the collection of the Orthodox missionary and Sinologist Archimandrite Peter (Pavel Ivanovich Kamensky, 1765-1845), that are stored in the Oriental Department of the SPbSU Academic Library. The three books of the Archimandrite found by the author are manuscripts of religious content in Chinese: “The Book of Divine Thought” (默想指掌), “The Four Ends of uman Life” (四終略意); “ oly Dream Song” (聖夢歌). The books have a partial interlinear translation into Russian, presumably made by P. Kamensky himself and by the Christian Chinese Peter Zhou Bourgeois. The article gives the codicological characteristics of these books and analyzes their content.
