The high degree of openness of information that is available in social networks, information aggregation
sites and other resources makes it possible for a malefactor to create psychological portraits of company employees in
order to implement social engineering attack influences that will have a greater probability of success. Thus, the problem
arises of automated data collection about users with the purpose of constructing a user’s vulnerabilities profile, which can
be accessed by the malefactor. This article offers a new recursive approach to collecting user pages in the social network
VK.com. This approach, in comparison with the existing ones, allows expanding the scope of the search.
