The given article is devoted to some peculiarities of using infographics in the training of high school students. Therefor we attempt to bring out the definition of infographic and its main organizational-methodical features: representativity and comprehensibility, integrity and motivation, affectivity and attractive design. The task is to make out the system of teaching exercises for mastering professional communication competence in a foreign language. Particular attention is paid to the development of information processing skills and visual thinking The article presents exemples of the task aimed to develop professional communication in French in the context of the topic “Terrorism”
