It analyzes the tourist image of China in the Russian media. To study the tourist image of China, we analyzed materials with a high level of citation when entering the query "China", "tourism", "travel" in Russian in popular queries of Google and Yandex search engines. Various points of view existing in the Russian press on the issue of tourism cooperation between the two countries are presented, and the strategy for creating a tourist image in modern mass media is analyzed.
