The article describes specific aspects in training examiners of the regional subject commission on the USE in French. Special attention is paid to the contents of the course as well as to the organizational aspect of training new examiners. The authors analyze typical mistakes made by beginner level examiners in assessing oral and written examinees’ extended responses.
