The purpose of the work is to inform teachers of the Russian language as a foreign language with the specifics of the everyday communication sphere of foreign military personnel - cadets studying in Russian universities. An actual direction in the communicative method of teaching foreign languages is the studying of communication areas and the creation of teaching materials, according to the specifics of the studied area. Identifying the specifics of the students ’communication sphere - the most typical situations and language, as well as taking into account their communicative needs, makes learning more motivated and effective.
