The article is devoted to the formation of phonetic skills in the Russian language among Chinese students. The authors have developed an introductory-phonetic course using phonetic games. For Chinese students games are an effective way of learning Russian pronunciation because the competition principle of the game is clear and understandable to them. It is possible in the game, drawing on the strengths of the collectivist beginning, inherent in the native Chinese speakers, habit and the need to work in a group.
