The course towards client-centricity is a new management technology, the purpose of which
is to improve the quality of public services as a reflection of the strengthening the interaction between the
authorities and the population. No less important than the main idea of the course – the formation of the «State
for the people», in our opinion, is the development of new – soft management technologies.
The purpose of the publication is to evaluate the results of almost a year of activities of the Russian
Government in its implementation, identifying both: successes and shortcomings. This was analyzed by
government documents and web-sites. The shortcomings are reduced to two: the lack of publicity in setting
goals, as well as a change in the mechanism for evaluating the work of ministries and territories, which, as an
experiment, undertook to implement it
