The paper investigates the text of an art review of the Russian and Soviet painting exhibition of 2014 in Sweden. Typical for an axiological presentation of Soviet art is introduction of political ideological commentary and interpreting works of art of this period as derivative of Stalinist propaganda and ideological pressurizing.
