The article is devoted to the educational and methodological potential of innovative works of modern Russian literature. The article pays attention to the features that turn these works into an effective mechanism for teaching productive types of speech activity, provides examples of types of work with these texts that contribute to the development of predictive abilities of students and skills and abilities to generate their own texts, written (monologue) and oral (dialogic).
