Sentiment analysis is a commonly used NLP (natural language processing) technique to determine whether the text is positive, negative, or neutral. In our study, an attempt was made to apply standard algorithms to the problem of assessing the social mood of a region. To do this, we are developing a method for assessing the sentiment of user comments in social networks based on a special metric.
