The article deals with methodical aspects of the interpretation of
keywords of the current moment in the classroom linguistic cycle for students majoring in “Advertising and public relations”. It implies the
identifcation of these lexical units, demonstration of their functioning in media texts, as well as the analysis and writing of keywords in the lexical and semantic feld. Special consideration shall be subject to the analysis of connotative meanings as a source of impact potential words.
