The article is devoted to teaching translation from Russian into English and focuses on the grammar aspect of the discipline. Systemic approach to teaching translation grammar is advocated and the need of new materials is explained. Some grammar phenomena requiring systemic approach are quoted, such as: sentences with post-positive subject, negation structures, markers of approximate quantity, particles, etc.
