The article presents a comparative analysis of Russian and German dictionaries of phraseological neologisms. Despite a number of shared trends in the reflection of new material in the Russian and German lexicographic traditions, visible differences are observed.russian phraseological neography is focused on the idioms and periphrases of the expressive type, while the German neological phraseology dictionary mainly describes stable phrases (collocations) of the terminological and semi-terminological type. In both languages, the influence of American phraseological units and other stable phrases is observed.
