The article considers the issue of the possibilities of mnemonic technics for teaching foreign students Russian language. The authors substantiate the expediency of the use of mnemonics as an effective way of studying grammar. Mastering mnemonic techniques contributes to the solid mastery of grammatical phenomena. The authors give examples of the use of mnemonics in the formation of grammatical skills in a foreign language. When we built exercises, we took into account factors that influence the process of storing information in memory: activity, interest, attention, awareness of the problem and emotional assessment.
