The notion of «terminology translation» represents a
compromise between onomasiological and semasiological approaches to
terminological equivalence. Terminology work focuses on conceptual
equivalence and attributing designations (linguistic labels) in different languages
to identical or similar concepts. The framework of translation practices provides
a view on terminology as a particular type of «special words» and represents
