At present, much attention is paid to the problem of the formation of the culture of the student researcher. The article examines the variety of approaches to understanding culture in general and the culture of a researcher, in particular. The definition of the concept of "student-researcher" and "culture of research" is given. The stages of research activities are formulated. The content of each stage is presented, taking into account the capabilities of modern schoolchildren. The conclusion is formulated that the development by students of the skills for the implementation of each stage of project activity can be considered as a means of forming their culture of the researcher in the implementation of project activities.
