The article is devoted to the study of national and cultural features of the concept of Happiness in order to reveal similarities and differences in its understanding in the Russian and Chinese languages. Based on the idea of the unity of the speech-making act, in which the linguistic and logical content are presented together, the figurative concept and semantic constants of the concept of Happiness are studied. Scientific novelty: for the first time an attempt is made to present the description of the concept of Happiness on the material of contexts from the National corpus of the Russian language. Purpose: to compare Russian and Chinese interpretations, to reveal personal-figurative and national-symbolic meanings of the studied concept.
