In the article are introduced outcomes of experiment to study the possibilities of Personal Meaning Maps application to blended learning of a classical university. The investigation had been holding at St. Petersburg State University in «Applied Informatics in Art and Humanities» Bachelor Program in 2017/18-2018/19 academic years. As well as a comparative analysis of co similar data which were obtained by scientists from the University of Milan (Universitata Degli Studio Di Milano). A quantitative and qualitative analysis of the collected data shows that Personal Meaning Maps” methodology activates both a theoretical knowledge of students and their personal experience, providing them with opportunities to achieve more relevant and completed submissions in digital humanities knowledge field.
