The article is devoted to the issues of ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises in the tourism industry. It highlights the main features of the functioning of tourist enterprises and their influence on the choice of the strategy of competitiveness. The authors consider the specifics of the application of different types of strategies, such as price competition strategies, co-competitiveness strategies, differentiation strategies, concentration strategies, competition strategies based on in novation and strategies of adaptation to external conditions, at tourist enterprises.
