The article describes theoretical approaches to the study of the development of sensory, motor and cognitive spheres of the child. The role of action and movements in the development of the psyche is determined. A comparison of the methods of sensory and sensorimotor integration of a child is carried out from the point of view of methodological grounds. The advantages of the sensorimotor integration method are presented, where the key is the combination of theoretical concepts and experimental data in the field of sensory and motor interaction. The experience of creating, planning and conducting classes using the method of sensorimotor integration is described.
