Professional education of future psychologists is inextricably linked with the formation of pedagogical competencies that are developed in practice. The organizers of teaching practice have a task to interest students in this field of self-realization in the profession and to present the possibilities of applying the acquired knowledge in psychology. The purpose of the article is to identify the innovative potential of the teaching training of master program students in psychology and to develop new forms of practice organization. The leading research method is a survey of 76 master program students in psychology and an analysis of their reports on doing teaching practice. The results can be used in the development of teacher training programs in non-pedagogical universities.
