Modern organizations strive for a high level of efficiency and quality of work, introducing and improving the motivation system for their employees. The developed system is necessary because one salary is already insufficient for employees. They need additional motivating factors in a period of high competition. Each organization uses its own methods, taking into account the characteristics of employees and the company itself, as well as its leader. The article examined: the definition of motivation, features of the system, its main essential features, approaches to study, theoretical foundations and types of motivation carried out using various methods, both tangible and intangible.
