Bullying at school is recognized in many countries as an acute social problem. According to the ONF,
by the end of 2020, every third child in Russia faces systematic violence from peers. Bullying can cause children's mental disorders, problems with self-esteem, physical ailments, as a result of which the prevention of
this phenomenon becomes a necessary vector of work in educational institutions. The article presents an
overview of preventive approaches used in Russia and Sweden in order to compare and determine possible
prospects for the development of bullying prevention in Russian schools.
