The rapid development of the processes of digitalization of society did not leave aside the advertising sphere.
According to a study by IAB Russia and PwC, online advertising accounts for 35.9 to 40% of the advertising market in
the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF) [1]. In this regard, the issue of legal regulation of advertising
on the Internet is relevant. Within the framework of this article, it seems interesting to analyze the legislation of the
Russian Federation for the legal regulation of relations arising in the process of creating and placing advertisements on
the Internet.
