The relevance of the research: in this article the author investigates the reasons for staff turnover based on the example of sociological research. The article presents a real sociological study conducted by the author on the problems of staff turnover based on the example of the diet Diet-Bistro, located in the city of Tashkent. The purpose of the study: to identify the main factors affecting the turnover in the dining room of the Diet-Bistro, as well as to give the main recommendations for reducing staff turnover in the dining room of the Diet-Bistro. Methods of research: an interview was the main method of research. Practical significance: as a result of the sociological research, as well as the basic theoretical ideas of J. Debro, the author came to the conclusion that in the case of the diet of the Diets-Bistro with its working contingent, among which representatives of the lower and middle strata of the population, the reason for the frequent change of employees is their goal is to earn more. Primary in the work for them is income. This fact is confirmed by the author's interview with the labor personnel of the canteen. To create a greater motivation for the canteen, according to the works of J. Debro, administration of the institution should conduct various manipulations with the wages of employees. It is important to consider, the higher the income of employees of the canteen, the better and better they will perform their labor duties
