The educational text is one of the main elements of the learning process. The article discusses the differences in the understanding and application of educational texts in interdisciplinary classes from the classical ideas about the educational text. Frequent mistakes in the use of a new nature's educational texts are indicated on the example of the use of such texts in an interdisciplinary manner.
