At the Department of Slavic Philology of St. Petersburg State University and in the MSC named after prof. B. A. Larin is working on a new type of dictionaries: bilingual dictionaries of the writer's language, conceived by Larin. Such dictionaries have a dual purpose: on the one hand, these are author's dictionaries, on the other hand, explanatory dictionaries of one or another language. At the same time, the idea of L. V. Scherba about a foreign explanatory dictionary in the language of students, which was seen by the scientist as the ideal of a bilingual dictionary. Two academic translations of copyright dictionaries, defended as master's theses at the Department of Slavic Philology at St. Petersburg State University: clearly show the relevance of Larin ideas and the need to create bilingual copyright dictionaries..
