The subjective well-being of employees is one of the key factors in the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of an organization. The purpose of this study is to identify a set of specific factors in the psychosocial environment of an organization that are interrelated with the subjective well-being of its employees. The study was conducted on a Main sample (N=325) and an independent Control sample (N=100) of adult respondents from the main regions and sectors of the Russian economy. The factors of the psychosocial working environment of the organization were measured using the DPQ questionnaire, the well-being of employees was measured using the PERMA+4 technic. The association was analyzed with linear and nonlinear modeling. The study showed that the employee's subjective well-being is associated with the following parameters of the psychosocial environment: “Organizational justice and leadership quality”; “Role clarity”; “Absence of unnecessary work tasks”; “Interaction, trust, and support from colleagues and managers”; and “Possibilities for development”. The obtained results may be used to design a workspace that enhances employee well-being, as well as the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the organization.
