Abstract: The reaction of In(C6F5)3·Et2O with NHCdipp·CuCl and NHCdipp·AgCl in dichloromethane at room temperature leads to the formation of the complex [(NHCdipp)Cu(μ-Cl)2In(C6F5)2] and the solvate [(NHCdipp)2Ag]+· [In2(μ-Cl)(C6F5)6]·СH2Cl2 [NHCdipp—N,N′-bis(isopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene]. Structures of the obtained compounds were determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. An increase in Lewis acidity due to the introduction of electronegative C6F5 groups makes it possible to stabilize the binuclear anion [In2(μ-Cl)(C6F5)6].
