We study the question of the existence of the global minimum of the functional {Mathematical expression} over the set of functions {Mathematical expression} where Ω ⊂ℝⁿ is a bounded domain, and a fixed function K(x,y)=K(y,x) belongs to L₂(Ω×Ω).
