The new version of the ²³⁰Th/U-dating method of organogenic deposits has substantiated to inculcate it in geochronological researches. The methodic and methodological special features of practical applying of the ²³⁰Th/U dating are characterized in detail. The results of comprehensive geochronological study of buried peat and gitya have obtained. Time of formation of interglacial sediments from the East European Plain and Siberia obtained by the ²³⁰Th/U-dating correlates with isotope-oxygen stage MIS-7 and the first half of MIS-5. Interstadial deposits correspond to the second half of MIS-5 and MIS-3.
