The new version of the 230Th/U-dating method of organogenic deposits has substantiated to inculcate it in geochronological researches. The methodic and methodological special features of practical applying of the 230Th/U dating are characterized in detail. The results of comprehensive geochronological study of buried peat and gitya have obtained. Time of formation of interglacial sediments from the East European Plain and Siberia obtained by the 230Th/U-dating correlates with isotope-oxygen stage MIS-7 and the first half of MIS-5. Interstadial deposits correspond to the second half of MIS-5 and MIS-3.
