В статье идет речь о примечаниях переводчиков и их роли в тексте перевода. Примечания переводчика рассматриваются как с позиции теории перевода, так и с позиции переводческой практики. Сравнение примечаний переводчика с авторскими примечаниями позволяет сделать вывод об их особом значении как для переводимого произведения, так и для читателей перевода.

The paper deals with translators notes and their role in the target text. Translators notes are analysed both from the translation studies perspectives and from the perspectives of translation practice. The comparison of translators and authors notes makes it possible to conclude that notes have special importance both for the target text and the target audience.
