The article describes the experience of integrating generative AI tools into the “Methodology of Professional Education” course to enable non-pedagogical master’s students to develop concepts for teaching sessions as part of their teaching practice. The workflow is described, instructor guidelines are provided, along with a formula, template, and example of a GenAI prompt for designing one or more teaching sessions. The results of students’ work with GenAI are analysed. It is concluded that the guided use of GenAI positively impacts student outcomes and can serve as a resource for developing their teaching competence.
