The study aims to examine the drivers of consumers’ likelihood to use commercial sharing systems (CSSs) again and define the role of institutional logic in moderating the relationships between satisfaction, trust, and repeat usage likelihood. Using an online survey, 552 complete and valid questionnaires were received from customers who had experience in using CSSs in the previous year. The study demonstrates that satisfaction positively influences repeat usage intentions both directly and indirectly through consumer trust to CSSs. However, the direct effect of satisfaction on repeat usage intentions is stronger if consumers hold an anti-capitalistic versus pro-capitalistic institutional logic of sharing. It means that the anti-capitalistic institutional logic makes consumers more sensitive to the quality of past experiences. Additionally, the study shows that the anti-capitalistic institutional logic per se increases the level of trust to CSSs.
