The significance of performing calculations of two-electron contributions for excited states of heliumlike ions is demonstrated. As a case, the vacuum-polarization screening corrections to the (1s2s)0,1, (1s2p 1/2 )0,1, and (1s2p3/2)1,2 energy levels are considered.
