The evaluation of the two-loop self-energy correction diagrams in the high-Z hydrogen like ions was discussed at Z≥40. It was found that the leading source of discrepancy was the overlapping diagram. The evaluation was used to improve the uncertainty of the theoretical values of the ground state Lamb shift.
