N2 - Precise expressions were obtained for the thermodynamic Gibbs potential, enthalpy, and entropy of micelle formation for ionic and nonionic surfactants and their mixtures. The contribution of the temperature dependence of the aggregation number to the enthalpy of micelle formation was estimated within the framework of a quasichemical model. The substantiation of the quasichemical model of micelle formation was examined.
