The reconstruction of Kant's classifications of the kinds of logic is given in this presentation. I show also the forming of the contemp[orary understanding of so-called "formal logic" was impossible without the Kant's notion of pure general logic. hsaped in the framework of his critique of reason. This critique led to the change of the understanding of logic as an organon (Aristotle) to the interpretation of it as a canon of finite cognition (Kant). Finally, I raise the question of the status of Kant's transcendental logic as well as of posibillity of a fromalisation of it in account to Kant's very idea of pure general logic.
