“The Belt and Road” is the abbreviation of «Economic belt of the Silk Road» and «Sea Silk Road of the 21st century.» The media, as an organization for transmitting information, integrating society and monitoring the environment in the new era, are very important and cannot be ignored. Therefore, it is very important to study how the “one belt, one way” initiative is considered in the Belarusian media.The materials of this study are reports on the topic “the Belt and Road” in the leading Belarusian media from 2013 to 2017. This article is devoted to quantitative analysis, including the analysis of the number and density of media reports. The article also discusses the discursive features of media reporting in three aspects: classification, inclination, discursive strategy and ideology.
