N2 - The aim of the longitudinal study of children (n = 10) from birth to 7 years is to reveal the characteristics of child speech in age dynamics, predictive reading skills formation. On the basis of the integrated method of analysis was found the correlation between the physiological state of the child at birth, characteristics of vocalizations in the first year of life and level of language development in 4-7 years. It is shown that a combination of two factors - age and the risk of age at birth significantly influence the reading comprehension by 5-7 years old child. The results of the study support the view that the development of spoken language and reading skills formation is a common process of speech development, and suggest that the prognostic significance for the child's mastery of reading skills is the whole previous course of early speech development.
