In the present report, the author makes an attempt to revert to the study of Turkic collateral category from the standpoint of theoretical linguistics. Traditionally, many linguists believe that the grammatical form of causative signals the connection of action and the object in which the object has been induced to act. According to the opinion of author, this grammatical form is a morphological indication, firstly, of the relation between the action and the subject, rather than the object, and secondly, the subject is understood as an initiator of action, in question.
