Amine carbonates solutions are proposed as strip reagents for metal stripping from the organic phase. The advantage of this class of strip reagents is the possibility for regeneration. The regeneration process is simple and safe. Decreasing the organic substance content in the strip product results in simplification, acceleration, and reduction or elimination of organic destruction in the process. The successful stripping of cesium, strontium, rare-earth and actinides from UNEX-solvent was demonstrated in batch and dynamic tests. The possibility of regeneration and reuse was demonstrated in dynamic test. Other potential uses were proposed.
