N2 - Complete formulas for the QED corrections of the first order in α to the radiative recombination of an electron with a bare nucleus are derived. An analysis of the ultraviolet and infrared divergences is presented. Application of the formulas to the radiative electron capture process is discussed. Numerical results are presented for the vacuum-polarization correction evaluated in the Uehling approximation and for a part of the self-energy correction.
